Slow Bal-Love Challenge
This will be a social Slow Balboa competition open to all dancers. You register as a couple to enter the preliminaries. The judges will choose a small selection of dancers to dance in the final. Any style of Slow Balboa, Bal-swing, and dancing relating to these styles are allowed. Music will be slow swing between 70-100 Bpm. Short choreographed sequences and lifts are allowed, but judges will only be impressed if these are done with rhythm and flow. You will be judged on technique, musicality, and partnership within the couple. The format of the finals will be spotlights.
Entry fee 20 EUR / couple

Prelims: Saturday at 17:00 @ Autoklub
Finals: Sunday evening @ Autoklub
Slow Balboa Mix & Match
This is a social mix and match competition for all dancers. Leaders and Followers sign up individually. Partners are chosen at random. You will dance with more than one partner and to different tempos. The judges will choose individuals to dance in the final. Any style of Slow Balboa, Bal-Swing or dancing relating to these styles are allowed. Music will be slow swing between 70-100 Bpm. You will be judged on technique, flow, musicality, and partnership. Judges will especially look for your ability to make your partner shine while still keeping your integrity as a dancer. In the finals, you will be judged as individuals.

"The Switchcraft" Competition
A tap-out Slow Balboa switch competition! No need to register in advance—just show up with a partner and join the fun. We’re looking for the couple who can impress us by smoothly switching roles throughout the dance, all while staying musical, stylish, and simply amazing.
No fee and no registration is required, just jump in when it's about to start.
